10 Foot Custom Aquarium, Quality Engineered

All of our standard and special aquarium sizes, including our 10-foot custom aquarium, have optimized engineering to determine the minimum thickness required for each individual panel of glass.

We don’t settle for a one-size-fits-all formula. We optimize every individual panel in the aquarium based on engineering standards for your needs.

For example – if you have us modify your aquarium from (24″H x 72″L x 24″D) to (24″H x 96″L x 24″D), you don’t need thicker side panels; You need thicker front, back, and bottom panels.

Durable Aquariums at an Affordable Price

Other aquarium manufacturers will automatically increase the thickness of every panel just because one panel needs to be thicker. Or, they will skimp on all panels because they don’t want to upgrade just some of them.

Our engineers use advanced pressure rating formulas to optimize every aquarium to have a minimum safety factor of 2.3 (the industry’s minimum standard).

And because of our aluminum frame system, some aquariums are even stronger with a safety factor of 3.5. By using this technique, we achieve the highest strength at the lowest cost!

Rimless Aquariums

We can also design your 10-foot fish tank to make it rimless! Rimless aquariums work great for frag tanks, island tanks, turtle tanks, and more!

The polished beveled edges and superior craftsmanship make our rimless tanks the premier rimless brand on the market.

Our Majestic® stands come with center supports, so even our largest rimless glass aquariums are well-supported.

Also, we created a unique center concealment column (exclusive to Custom Aquariums) to assist in adding plumbing, such as our H2Overflow® and Siphon Stoppers®, and to make filtration easy for island tanks.

Glass vs. Acrylic Aquariums

There are pros and cons to using glass and acrylic for your 10-foot custom fish tank. Thankfully, our team has extensively tested what type of material is best:

For example, we have to consider not only the installation difficulties but also the long-term viability of our investment. After studying the difference, we found that most often we are sacrificing the long-term benefit of glass aquariums for the short-term benefit of acrylic.

Please see our glass vs acrylic page for more information.
