Flint Aquarium Gravel

Our flint gravel is a great choice for a variety of aquascapes. It is small enough to prevent detritus (organic matter) from penetrating deep into your aquarium floor, yet heavy enough to not get sucked away by a siphon vacuum cleaner. The natural colors also help make algae and detritus less noticeable. Our pre-packaged sizes come in a plastic pail which is easy to transport and put in your tank without spilling as compared to bagged gravel. Gravel comes pre-washed and is of very high quality. This very same material is often used in high-end water treatment processes. The preferred use of our expert aquarium technicians for many applications.

Roughly 1lb per gallon is generally recommended, however, this can vary depending on your preference and the depth of your tank.
