Optimized Glass Thickness
All our standard aquarium sizes, special aquarium sizes, and amphibious aquariums have optimized engineering to determine the minimum thickness required for each glass panel. So instead of a one-size-fits-all formula, we optimize each panel based on engineering standards.
For example, say you go from the size (24“H x 72“L x 24”D) to (24“H x 96“L x 24”D). Most manufacturers would automatically increase the thickness of every panel just because one needs to be thicker, or they skimp on all panels because they don’t want to upgrade only some of them. Just because you made it longer doesn’t mean you need thicker side panels; You just need a thicker front, back, and bottom.
Our engineers used advanced pressure-rating formulas to optimize every fish tank to a minimum safety factor of 2.3 (Industry minimum), but ours are even stronger because of our proprietary aluminum frame system. This technique lets us achieve the highest strength at the lowest cost. As a result, our prices and weights are often more favorable than other tanks of the same size.
Keep in mind these are minimum standards. You are always free to upgrade any panel for additional peace of mind; you can’t downgrade from the aquarium size configurations above.

Special: Our most popular standard aquarium sizes and best value for your dollar. Custom material options are also available, even for our discounted specials. We also have pre-configured décor, filtration, and canopy/stand packages available at a discounted price. Tempering any type, special or standard, will add to your lead time.
Standard: These sizes are made to order but typically use in-stock materials and come in common increments we can manufacture efficiently. These sizes offer better value than custom sizes. Tempering any size will add to your lead time.
