Description
This built to order aquarium stand is designed for a tank 72″ long and 24″ wide. The stand can either be a high strength powder-coated steel tube stand or a hardwood cabinet with a matching canopy. The hardwood stand and canopy are available in a number of styles, woods, and colors.
The Majestic® hardwood stand is made using furniture quality wood. It is only made from high quality materials. No cardboard, fiber board, particle board, or softwood are used in our stands. Our stands are designed to last a lifetime.
The steel stand is made from high-strength square tube steel. The steel frame is welded into a single solid piece. There are no open ends for water to collect in. Lastly, the whole frame is finished with a durable oven-cured powder-coating. The steel stand has a 3/4″ plywood top that is painted to match the black powder-coating.
Add Casters
We can mount casters directly to the bottom of the steel stand. If you have a wood stand we will create a high strength steel frame to attach the casters to and mount it to the bottom of the stand. The casters make moving an aquarium and stand much easier.
Note: You should remove at least two thirds of the water before moving the aquarium and stand.
A Note Regarding Stands
Majestic Stands:
The heights described for the Majestic Hardwood Stands are model size only. The aquarium platform for Majestic Stands is ⅜” less than the model height and has a raised lip that is ⅝” higher than the model height.
For example, a 30” Majestic wood stand has an aquarium platform 29-⅝” high with a raised lip that brings the overall height to 30-⅝”.
Steel Stands:
All Steel Stands include a 3/4″ plywood top. An optional plywood bottom can be added for an additional cost. Please contact us for more details.
The aquarium platform for the steel stand is the same height as the model height. Additionally, the steel stand does not have a raised lip.
For example, a 30” steel stand has both an aquarium platform and overall height of 30”.
