Ted: Hello. My name is Ted Judy. I work for Custom Aquariums. I'm going to show you our amphibious aquarium that is in this case set up as a paludarium by DFW Reptarium for us here at Aquashella.
At Custom Aquariums, we have a lot of different styles of aquariums that we can do. This is an amphibious aquarium. It was designed originally as a turtle tank. The idea was to have an area of water on the bottom that can be completely filtered just like an aquarium and area above it that is land. This particular paludarium was aquascaped by DFW Reptarium.
They put in this universal rocks background with all the nice rock work and the plants that are in here, and they provided the animals as well.
The filtration is our seamless sump filter which is the component sump system. They have multiple type of sumps; the sock tub, the baffle tub, and the reservoir tub, that you can mix and match in any type of numbers or orientation you want to fit the space you need, the amount of filtration you need. Instead of having an all-in-one sump, we break that up into multiple parts so you can design and customize what you want.
H2Overflow screen, which lets water out of the tank into the filter, and the Siphon Stopper emitter, which prevents backflow siphon events, putting water back into the tank.
The stand is one of our custom wood stands, and hickory, this is an upgraded stand option. If you're interested in aquarium like this or any other aquarium that we have, we are a custom shop. You call in. We have a configurator on our website. We have lots of ways you can get more information. The best place to start is www.customaquariums.com.
