So It Begins – Tank, Stand, and Sump Overview

Here it is everybody. The dream, the beginning of a 180-gallon ZEOvit reef. As you know, this is a standard dimension 72 by 24 by 24 roughly 180-gallon aquarium from Custom Aquariums. You got ultra clear glass from the sides and on the front. The back's been painted black. I'm using their siphon stopper returns the three-quarter inch. I've got the H2 Overflows two of them. Another siphon stopper. What I love about this tank, guys, look at that, hardly any space taken up inside. Zero volume loss from internal equipment. It all blends in real nice with the black background.

For the overflow, I'm using their stealth box. Here's the stand. Stands are all one-inch steel tube welded. This is actually powder coated. It's got a wood base painted. They did that not me. This thing is built to hold a truck, guys. It's solid. They put a board across the top here. It's countersunk and drilled into the frame. I can't see in there real well but this thing is just finished so nice. It came with the cellulose pad here. Here is what I'm starting for my overflow system, my sump system rather. You've got their seamless sump. You've got the dual sock tubs which overflow into the weir chamber.

All their chambers come with these really nice glass or plastic covers. Look at that, all the edges are polished. Here I've got a large reservoir tub which I can use for reactors or basically anything I want. I haven't worked out all those details yet I'm still working on it. Then I have two additional smaller reservoir tubs. I have to decide whether I want to save this space for other equipment, calcium reactor, just easier access to electrical along the side, or I can even put one of these in there and use it for auto top off. I'm really strongly considering having an auto top off container made that will fit in this five-inch space between the trim and the stand here.

Maybe it'll just be as tall as the stand. It'll be narrow but I'll still get 10 or more gallons of volume out of that space. I'm not sure, I haven't done the math so don't feel the need to correct me in the comments unless you really want to. I'm all for it, I'm a fair sport. Anyway, everyone, I just wanted to give you a first look at this thing here in the room. I'm very proud of it. I am just so excited to be getting ready to put this together for you, guys. Well, for myself. You guys are just an added bonus. I hope you're excited to see how it goes. Things are going to start going together really quickly for me.

You got Black Friday coming up before too long. Hoping to take advantage of some Black Friday deals. All right, guys try to keep it short and fairly short, sweet. I hope you guys look forward to the next update it shouldn't be too long. I appreciate you. You guys have a good day.
